Terry Gilliam is the person responsible for the artwork. I never watch Pee Wee as I found him creepy and his playhouse took on a whole new meaning when he was found having a good time with the palm sister in a porno theatre. I never watched Beetlejuice even though i love the movie. The funky beavers are fun to look at and just last week, a wayward beaver was found in a Toronto subway. It is close to a marsh so animal control came, picked him up and let him free back in the march. I used to love watching The Ghost Whisperer which I think is a pretty good show.Birgithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09439720285857050428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-185673993339880805.post-40866454190907697662021-03-26T14:51:39.765-07:002021-03-26T14:51:39.765-07:00Cool!Cool!Ronyell (a.k.a. Nice.

Monty Python's humor doesn't always land with me but it is wonderfully inventive stuff, as is the opening.

Pee Wee gives me the hives. I've always found him creepy so it's fitting that his intro is too.

I never saw the Beetlejuice TV show but if it's anything like the source film I'm sure it is a strange bird. Based on that intro I'd say that's a pretty good guess.

I hadn't planned it but all mine come from the sixties, I just went with the three that were the most memorable to me.

Bewitched (1964-1972)-Clever animation of the lead couple-witch Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) and human Darrin (first Dick York, later Dick Sargent) plus troublesome mother-in-law Endora (Agnes Moorehead) represented by a cloud of black smoke set to zippy music that hints at the magical theme of the show all in under 40 seconds!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3p2Q7vs4bQk

Gilligan’s Island (1964-1967)-Imagine a small boat, a storm-tossed sea, a spinning captain’s wheel and a lonely isle then sing along!
“Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
a tale of a fateful trip,
that started from this tropic port,
aboard this tiny ship. The mate was a mighty sailin' man,
the Skipper brave and sure,
five passengers set sail that day,
for a three-hour tour,
a three-hour tour. The weather started getting rough,
the tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
the Minnow would be lost.
The Minnow would be lost.
The ship's aground on the shore of this
uncharted desert isle
with Gilligan,
the Skipper too.
The millionaire and his wife,
the movie star,
the professor and Mary Ann,
here on Gilligan's Isle!”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoGahnlFEqY

The Brady Bunch (1969-1974)-Over the background of a tic-tac-toe board filled with the faces of the cast all mobile and smiling at each other we hear:
“Here's the story
Of a lovely lady
Who was bringing up three very lovely girls
All of them had hair of gold
Like their mother
The youngest one in curls

It's the story
Of a man named Brady
Who was busy with three boys of his own
They were four men
Living all together
Yet they were all alone

'Til the one day when the lady met this fellow
And they knew that it was much more than a hunch
That this group must somehow form a family
That's the way we all became the Brady bunch

The Brady bunch, the Brady bunch
That's the way we became the Brady bunch.”

And then Alice pops into the middle square!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZhhUdc_Vt0joel65913https://www.blogger.com/profile/14526657073681774683noreply@blogger.com
