Top Ten Tuesday #5: Top 5 Movie/TV Goals for 2015!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

So today’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is my top 5 Movie/TV Goals for 2015!

So, here's my top 5 Movie/TV Goals in 2015 (in no particular order)!

1.  Go to the movie theaters more often:  In all honesty, I haven't been to a movie theater since "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" came out in theaters and it would be nice to go to the movies and enjoy some of the current movies being put out.

2. Catch up on some episodes from current TV shows: Now, I had been pretty behind on some of my favorite current TV shows and hopefully in 2015, I will catch up on watching shows like "The Flash," "Constantine," and "Arrow!"

3. Watch some new movies and TV shows: I'm pretty sure that there will be some new TV shows and movies coming out in 2015 and I want to check them out as soon as possible!

4. Read up on more comic books: Since the superhero genre is getting even more popular , I want to be able to learn more about the various comic book characters that will be getting their own movies in 2015 such as "Avengers" and "Ant-Man!"

5. Write some new fan fictions on my favorite characters:  Now, this may seem to have nothing to do with movies and TV in general, but I have actually wanted to get some good fan fictions out there that stars my favorite comic book characters (X-Men and Batman) and my favorite TV shows (The Angry Beavers and Hey Arnold!)  and I would like to get my fan fiction ideas out in public as soon as possible!

So, what are your top 5 movie/TV goals in 2015? Please feel free to answer in the comments below!

Top Ten Tuesday #4: Top 10 TV Characters You Wish would get their own TV series!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

Each week there’s a different Top Ten list. It’s a great way to find and connect with other awesome bloggers.

So today’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is my top 10 characters that I wish would get their own series (in no particular order).

1. Spike from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Sure, Angel had his own TV series after "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," but what about Spike himself?  He's a pretty interesting character from the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" TV series and I would love to see a TV series that revolves around him!

2. Anya from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Seriously, I was trying to decide between whether Cordelia or Anya should get their own TV series from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," but since Cordelia was already a major part of the "Angel" TV series, I chose Anya instead.  Anya had a pretty interesting back story as a demon and I would love to see maybe a prequel series of sorts about what Anya was like before she met Buffy and the others.

3. Helga Pataki from "Hey Arnold!"

You want to know the sad part about this?  Helga was supposed to get her own TV series called "The Patakis" but Nickelodeon decided not to make this series happen since they thought it would have either been too similar to "Daria" or too dark.  A shame really, since I would have loved to see a TV series starring Helga Pataki!

4. Jazz from the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

Easily one of my most favorite characters from the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," I would have loved to see his adventures after the finale of the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and see how he could make it without Will being around him.

5. Stacy and Chelsea from "The Angry Beavers."

Another sad story with this one was that Stacy and Chelsea were supposed to get their own TV series, but after "The Angry Beavers" was canceled, that didn't happened. Too bad, since I would have loved to see a TV series that starred Norbert and Daggett's adorable little sisters!

6. Turk from "Scrubs."

Man, I loved Turk from "Scrubs!" I really wished that he would get his own TV series since I found him to be a pretty interesting character and I would love to see more of his interactions with his wife Carla!

7. Elliot from "Scrubs."

Seriously, I was caught between choosing either Elliot or Carla to get their own TV series, but since I've mentioned Carla along with Turk, I choose Elliot since she was clearly a hilarious character in "Scrubs" that would bring out the show's humor even more in her own TV series!

8. Gus from "Psych."

Gus is pretty much the straight man to Shawn's comedic nature, so I do wonder if we get a TV series that focuses on Gus and how he can still bring humor and wit to his own TV series!

9. Felicity Smoak from "Arrow."

Seriously, who wouldn't want to have a TV series starring everyone's favorite techno geek, Felicity! I always think that Felicity is a pretty interesting character in the "Arrow" TV series and it would be great if she got her own TV series!

10. Roy Harper from "Arrow."

Another great character from "Arrow," it would be pretty interesting to see more awesome activities from Roy if he got his own TV series!

Top Ten Tuesday #3: Top 10 Movies I want to Rewatch!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

Each week there’s a different Top Ten list. It’s a great way to find and connect with other awesome bloggers.

So today’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is my top 10 movies that I want to re-watch again (in no particular order).

1. Titanic (1997)

Man, I remembered how popular this movie was when it first came out and yet, I haven't seen this movie since it first came out.  So, I'm definitely making it my goal to re-watch this movie again whenever I get the time!

2. Ever After (1998)

Remember those days when there were movies that have strong female protagonists in a fairy tale setting?  Well, "Ever After" was definitely one of those movies and just the idea about re-watching this film again has got my nostalgia nerves on high!

3. Harriet the Spy (1996)

*Sigh*.... the early years of Nickelodeon!  This movie practically defined how I felt about Nickelodeon back in the 90s and I would definitely try to re-watch this film again for the sheer nostalgia of my childhood!

4. The Avengers (2012)

I know this movie was pretty recent, but I just love this movie to death!  I don't think I will ever get tired of watching this film since I'm a huge superhero fan and all and I definitely want to watch this film again before I get ready for the next film "Age of Ultron!"

5.  X-Men 2 (2003)

I remembered that before "Days of Future Past" came around, this was the best X-Men movie to date and I want to re-watch this  movie to remember why it was so great to begin with. I do remember liking it when it came out, but it's been so long since I've last seen this movie.

6. Good Burger (1997)

To be honest, even though I used to watch "All That" and "Kenan and Kel" a bunch of times when I was little, I barely watched "Good Burger" when I was little.  So, I'll change that right away by re-watching this film again and see how good it was!

7. The Hunger Games (2012)

I've already read all the "Hunger Games" books, but I rarely watched the movies based off of the books.  It's time for me to go back and watch this movie again to see how good Jennifer Lawrence was in her role as Katniss!

8. Finding Nemo (2003)

Man, I remembered when Pixar used to put out so many good films and "Finding Nemo" was definitely one of them! I used to love that film when I was younger, so I should definitely re-watch this film to get my nostalgia on!

9. Princess Mononoke (1997)

Seriously, I am huge fan of Hayao Miyazaki's works and "Princess Mononoke" has always been one of my most favorite films from Miyazaki! So, of course I am going to re-watch this wonderful film for old time's sake!

10) Toy Story 2 (1999)

To be honest, I only watched "Toy Story 2" once or twice in my entire life, so I'm giving this film another viewing just to jogged my memory and see how good it was from the first film!

So, what are some films you are planning on re-watching? Please feel free to comment below!
