    a few suggestions:

    have you considered checking out Puella Magi Madoka Magica and its sequel movie, Rebellion? neither of them are admittedly THAT weird plotwise and i honestly feel they aren't that well written, but Gekidan Inu Curry's work with the witch designs and other surreal visuals is INCREDIBLE, ESPECIALLY in Rebellion.

    another show i can think of that's weird through and through is Paranoia Agent (though extreme content warning for heavy themes ranging from suicide to sexual abuse... it's really not a show you should watch unprepared). it's paced awkwardly at times and it's very dark, but i LOVE the use of experimental animation and how thickly blurred the line between reality and fantasy is. i don't know how to explain much more without spoiling things, but it's a very interesting show.

    also i imagine you may have already seen it since you've seen Quasi at the Quackadero by the same person, but Sally Cruikshank's short Face Like A Frog is really fun to watch.

    i also reccommend the short AH, HE'S SICK by Yugo Limbo, which you can find here! https://youtu.be/PwdmMZcJDgY it's very stylistically interesting and just plain wacky all the way through.

    ...lastly, though perhaps i've suggested far too many things already, are you interested at all in music videos, video games, or collections of much briefer youtube videos? because i can think of some good ones there!

    if this is too many things at once i'm very sorry, i've just never seen a review site of this kind and as someone who likes weird and wacky stuff i just got very overexcited ^^;

      That's alright! Actually, this is all so awesome! I remembered watching Paranoia Agent years ago and being interested in the show and I definitely need to watch Puella! Thanks for the suggestions!

      alrighty!! it's neat that you've already seen Paranoia Agent... i still gotta check out Satoshi Kon's other stufd because i hear that's good and weird too.

      also... since i had already mentioned music videos, i suppose i'll post my suggestions if that's alright!! WARNING for flashy visuals though, if you have photosensitive epilepsy maybe skip these... but i really like the music video for Magenta ( https://youtu.be/8zbk21xLgk8 ) and its "sequel" Babel Circus ( https://youtu.be/uRsZQqb-328 ) along with Avogado6's other works! they have some of the same vibes as Gekidan Inu Curry's stuff.
