Hey everyone!  I didn't watch any movies or TV shows this week, but I did play a brand new Sonic the Hedgehog game called "The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog!"  It was such an intriguing game and I can't wait to play some more of this game in the near future!

Surreal Discussions #7: I NEED HELP! (or New Laptop Woes)

 

Hey everyone! Welcome to another Surreal Discussions!

So, it's been awhile since I last did a Surreal Discussions post, hasn't it?  Well, for the past year, I haven't been as active on this blog as I wanted to and now, I'm trying to change all that!

So, today's discussion is on I NEED HELP (OR NEW LAPTOP WOES)!

*PSST! This is basically a repost of a post I made on my book blog (yes, I have a BOOK BLOG) since I'm trying to spread the word out.  So, please read this at your leisure!*

NOW WAIT A MINUTE!

You are probably asking yourself, "What does this have to do with movies and TV shows in general?"

Well, I've actually been holding this off for awhile now, but I think that now is the right time to do this.

Now, I normally don't ask for donations or anything like that since I don't want to come off as asking for money constantly.  But, for months now, I've been trying to get a new laptop and some new equipment, because I've had my current laptop for over 6 years now and I'm afraid that my laptop might break down soon since it's an old model.  If that happens then I wouldn't be able to make anymore content until I got a new laptop.

So does that mean that I won't be blogging anymore until I get a new laptop?

NOOOOOOOO!!!

I'll still be blogging and putting out content as usual, but if you would like to help me get better equipment and a new laptop so that I can put out even better content, that would be awesome and I would be very grateful for the support!  Even if it's only $1, that's still very helpful!

Hey everyone!  So yesterday, was my little sister's birthday!  We had a lovely birthday party where we ate some Red Lobster and Ocean View and everything was delicious!  My little sister also enjoyed all the gifts we gave her, so that was great!  Also, we watching some "Young Justice" during the party and it was great rewatching that series again!

* "The Magician's Elephant" was a surprisingly great movie!  I never would have thought that a movie featuring an elephant would be so heartwarming and emotional and this film was definitely worth the watch!

* "Noise" was a pretty interesting thriller film about the main character being afraid of sounds and I really enjoyed the intense moments throughout this film! However, there are some issues with this film like how confusing the plot was, but it didn't really take away from my interest in the film!

* Anyone remembers "Young Justice?" You know, that show that was cancelled for no reason at all?  Well, me and my family started rewatching this show again and it's just as good as I remembered it!  I'm hoping to watch the rest of the episodes soon!

Hey everyone!  So, I have special news for you guys!  I finally reached over 100 FOLLOWERS on my Twitch account!  I've been trying for a long time to reach over 100 followers on Twitch and I finally done it!  I like to thank everyone who had followed me on Twitch and supported my streams!  Now, I'm trying to figure out what special event I should do to celebrate this special milestone!

* I finally finished watching "Red Rose" and man, it was quite a wild ride.  I was actually shocked at how realistic this series was in approaching the dark side of social media and putting a horror spin to it.  There were a couple of frustrating moments in this series for me, most notably the main characters constantly doing dumb things throughout the series. But overall, this was a really enjoyable series!

* "Rejected" is definitely the first short film that I've seen from Don Hertzfeldt and it was worth the watch!  There's lot of dark humor in this short film, but that's what I love about this short film and now, I'm looking forward to watching more of Don Hertzfeldt's work in the near future!
